For over 100 years we have been producing high quality die forgings, pressings and rail vehicle subassemblies. Our forge is located in the northeastern part of the Czech Republic, an area with well-developed metallurgical, engineering and mining industries. It ranks among the largest and most modern forges within the Czech Republic. The company posted in 2007 a turnover of Euro 29,94 M.

Over 80% of our production is exported all over Europe. On an annual basis we produce approximately 9000 t of die forgings with weight from 1 to 70 kg. Our forgings are primarily intended for the following industries:
– railway industry
– automobile industry
– agricultural equipment
– mining equipment
– building and power industry

Our forge operation is equipped with 2,500 and 4,000 t crank forging presses, MPM hammers with blow energy of 175 kJ and Beche 16 counter-blow hammer with blow energy of 170 kJ and 800 t horizontal forging presses and a number of other forging machines.

The equipment of the hot and cold pressing shop includes eccentric, crank, screw, brake and hydraulic presses with output from 60 t to 1000 t. These machines allow us to supply pressings with weight from 0.1 to 300 kg. In addition to that we produce buffers of all categories per UIC, draw gears and screw couplings for 360 kN to 1,350 kN load.

We have our own design engineering department for product as well as forging and pressing tool development. We use modern computer equipment with CAD/CAM – IDEAS MS5 software. We have our own tool shop. Based on customer's request we supply products in raw, machined or heat-treated condition.

Mechanical testing is done in our own testing shop. Evaluation of measured values is processed by computers. Basic metallographic tests of our products are done in our own laboratory. Our department of non-destructive testing is equipped to conduct compactness tests with ultrasound, radiography as well as surface quality tests on magnetoflux equipment. All measuring and testing equipment, as well as heating furnace equipment, is regularly calibrated.

Our company is a holder of ISO 9001-2000 certificate. In addition to that we hold a number of product as well as customer certifications. Of great importance is the group of our certifications from individual registration railways, primarily for forgings, draw hooks, screw couplings, brake shoe holders, draw gears and buffers. We are holders of AD – 2000 Merkblatt W0 certificate for pressure equipment parts, we are an approved supplier to DB with QI certificate, to SNCF, SNCB, »D, ÆSR, SBB, ÖBB and other.
