The IRS leasing and fleet management division is dedicated to provide smart and efficient financing support for its clients, mainly for freight railcars procurement.

IRS leasing and fleet management division currently offers financial leasing services in a wide variety of leasing solutions, fleet-sizing services, asset management services and remarketing expertise.

The main product consists of the “contract for sale of freight wagons with payment in instalments, through which IRS Leasing buys wagons produced by Meva or Romvag and resells it to the customers with payment over a 3-10 years period. The interest for the instalments will depend on the credit rating of the customer. This system already proved beneficial for IRS Leasing clients.

Since its incorporation in December 2002, IRS Leasing concluded freight wagon lease transactions of more than EUR 48 million.
